PROTEUS   OPTICS
Proteus Optics is the developer of a state-of the-art commercial laser pulse shaping system for use in the industrial, academic and government laboratories for advanced laser processing applications. The pulse shaping system, consisting of optical, computer, and data acquisition systems, is the centerpiece of closed-loop scheme for control of molecular reactions and dynamics by coherent electromagnetic fields. The core of the system is the spatial light modulator (SLM) that sculpts a time-dependent electromagnetic field in the optical regime. The laser pulse shaping system, used with time-of-flight mass spectrometric detection, has the flexibility to be integrated into widest number of other adaptive feedback applications ranging from coherent control to ultrafast light-wave communications.

Ultrafast Laser Pulse Shaping System for:
  • Mass Spectrometry
  • Chemical Agent Detection
  • Coherent Control
  • Telecommunications

Developed for the US Army by the Center for Advanced Photonics Research at Temple University
